Extreme 97 has 10% ethanol content (E10). Ethanol acts as booster to replace harmful additives usually found in ordinary gasoline. These harmful additives promote tailpipe emissions that pollute the environment and endanger the health of people.

Ethanol, on the other hand, is environment-friendly. It does not contribute to air pollution in any way. Ethanol is also a renewable alternative to fuel, and SEAOIL has consistently been an advocate of environment protection by pioneering the selling and promotion of E10 gasoline in the Philippine market in August 2005, ahead of any mandate.

Early in 2007, the Biofuels Act of 2006 was signed into law, mandating all fuel companies operating in the Philippines to sell E10 gasoline by February 2009.

Extreme 97 is an extension of SEAOIL's advocacy. Not only does the ethanol content contribute to the product's performance feature, it also verifies SEAOIL's commitment of promoting E10 gasoline to help preserve a healthy environment for future generations.
